Your node. Your gateway. Your block template.

Build blocks with your own XBTC node and connect through your own DATUM gateway. Badgers Den coordinates the shared reward distribution.

Shared rewards · 0.5% pool fee

Rewards follow a shared window of work equivalent to 8 network blocks. This is a work window, not a fixed time period. Your accepted work can remain in the window while your miner is offline.

This preview uses the same configuration as the download. Choose Gateway Config above for the complete file, including your node and payout settings.

Reading the public gateway profile…

  1. Run your own XBTC node. Enable RPC with server=1 and let it fully synchronize. Your gateway needs access to your node’s RPC endpoint and cookie file.
  2. Download and configure the gateway. Use the supported RATUM 0.1.74 gateway. Download Gateway Config, set bitcoind.rpcurl and bitcoind.rpccookiefile for your own node, then replace mining.pool_address with your own XBTC payout address. Keep the supplied DATUM flags and difficulty settings.
  3. Connect your gateway to Badgers Den. Load the completed configuration in your gateway. The host, port and public key above identify the pool; port 22001 is a DATUM endpoint for gateways.
  4. Point your miners at your gateway. For miners on your LAN, set stratum.listen_addr to your gateway’s LAN IP and allow its Stratum port on that LAN. The downloaded profile defaults to 127.0.0.1, which accepts connections from the same machine only. Use the endpoint below with a worker name such as rig1. Rewards are assigned to mining.pool_address.
Miner endpoint on your LANstratum+tcp://YOUR_GATEWAY_LAN_IP:23334

After accepted shares arrive, check the gateway count and look up your payout address under Miners in Work Window. Pool port 22001 is not a direct Stratum endpoint for your ASIC.

Reward Policy & Gateway Compatibility

Your Node. Your Gateway.

Use the official RATUM 0.1.74 gateway with your own XBTC node. Set mining.pool_address to your XBTC payout address and configure your local node RPC/cookie. Connect your miners to your gateway’s Stratum endpoint; a worker name such as rig1 is sufficient with the provided configuration.

The pool distributes rewards using a shared window of work equivalent to 8 network blocks. Existing BadgersDen gateways remain supported.

Miner Rewards

Normal jobs pay miners directly in the coinbase when the outputs fit. For temporary RATUM startup work without distribution, the pool wallet receives the coinbase. Miner entitlements are preserved against the recorded work window and paid after maturity as make-good payments, with the same 0.5% fee.

Later payments conservatively wait for 4321 confirmations and are considered confirmed here after 6 payment confirmations. Reserves are distributed without an extra fee using a recorded work window, in periods of 144 network blocks. Historical settlement markers are not treated as payment proof.
